A sweet vintage baby matinee jacket with a delicate lace diamond pattern, long sleeves and a buttoned front, finished with ribbon. A lovely new baby or christening gift.
- To fit chest: 17, 18 or 19 in (43, 46 or 48 cm)
- Length: 9¾ to 10 in
- Sleeve seam: 5 to 5¾ in
- Original yarn: Emu 3 ply or 4 ply, in 20g or 25g balls – 3 balls of 3 ply or 4 balls of 4 ply
- Needles: Aero – 3 ply: UK Nos. 11 and 13, plus a long pair of No. 11 for the yoke; 4 ply: UK Nos. 10 and 12, plus a long pair of No. 10 for the yoke
- Also needed: 3 small buttons and 2 yd 1 in ribbon
- Tension: 3 ply 16 sts to 2 in, or 4 ply 15 sts to 2 in, over stocking stitch
- Era: 1960s
