Baby's Pram Set – Vintage Knitting Pattern PDF – Instant Download
A complete pram set to keep a baby snug on winter outings: a buttoned coat with matching bonnet or helmet, and pull-up leggings. A Ladyship design (leaflet 4430), knitted in 4 ply.
- 2 sizes, to fit 20 and 22 in chest
- Coat: length from back neck 11 or 12 in, sleeve seam 5 or 5½ in
- Bonnet: 13 or 14 in round the brim. Helmet: 15 or 17 in round the head
- Pull-ups: front seam 8½ or 9 in, leg seam 10 or 12 in
- Yarn: Ladyship Newtimer 4 ply or Baby Quickerknit Bri-Nylon – 8 to 10 oz depending on size and set
- Needles: UK Nos. 9 and 10, plus a No. 10 crochet hook
- Also needed: 4 buttons, 1 yard of ribbon for the bonnet, elastic for the pull-ups and a stitch holder
- Tension: 14 sts and 18 rows to 2 in over stocking stitch
